What boat will we use for the trip?

Launching from Bayfield City Dock: 

Our 25’ 1963 Bircham Moppie, a true classic known for its quality and seaworthiness, offers speed, comfort, and space for up to 5 adventurers.

Launching from Little Sand Bay: 

Ride in style on our 21.5’ deep V-hull Sea Ray, seating 5 with a V-berth for gear storage.

Lake Superior’s weather can change suddenly, so come ready for anything. Bring a rain jacket and sweater or sweatshirt to stay warm and dry.

Wear closed-toe shoes and lightweight long pants to protect against biting flies common on the islands. Shorts or skirts are not recommended.

Don’t forget your camera to capture the stunning views, plus snacks, sunscreen, bug spray, a towel, and a hat. 

Bring lunch, snack, and beverages for the journey, as we do not provide them. You can bring a small cooler with some ice to keep things cool.

Lake Superior’s wild nature keeps us on our toes, so flexibility is necessary to keep your adventure safe and comfortable. 

Rough conditions may lead to delayed drop-offs, early pick-ups, or a fuel surcharge for challenging waters.

Our sturdy vessels easily handle 1.5 to 2-foot waves and rain, but we’ll delay or reschedule trips in adverse weather for your comfort

By booking just one trip daily, we adapt to the lake’s mood, ensuring your Apostle Islands experience is unforgettable.

If we cancel, you’ll receive a full refund. 

If you cancel:

  • Two weeks or more before your trip: You’ll receive a full deposit refund.
  • Between two weeks and two days before: You’ll receive a 50% refund of your deposit or a credit toward a future trip (subject to availability).
  • Within two days of your trip: Your deposit is non-refundable, but we’ll consider rescheduling for documented emergencies.

Note: Deposits are 50% of tour costs. Refunds are processed within 7-10 business days.
